Laurel Park cancels live racing due to high winds

Today's live racing card at Laurel Park is canceled due to high winds in the area. It is the seventh time this year that live racing has been canceled at Laurel.

Simulcasting will still be available at the racetrack, as well as Pimlico Race Course.

Snow forced live racing to be canceled on Jan. 30 and five other days this month -- Feb. 5, 6, 10, 11 and 12.

Laurel Park is expected to be open Saturday for live racing. The 10-race card includes the $70,000 Miracle Wood Stakes for 3-year-olds.
