Starting post positions for the 141st Preakness will be drawn at 5 p.m. today at Pimlico Race Course. The blind draw will determine where each of the 11 contenders in the second leg of the Triple Crown will start in Saturday's race. Post time is around 6:20 p.m.
Undefeated Nyquist is a heavy early favorite, with 5-8 odds, according to Bovada Sportsbook. He is looking to become the 13th horse to win the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes. American Pharoah won the Triple Crown last year.
The morning-line odds will be set after the draw is set. Exaggerator and Stradivari are also considered contenders.
