McDonogh four-star guard Noah Locke to announce college decision Tuesday

McDonogh boys basketball standout senior guard Noah Locke will make his college decision Tuesday night, he announced Monday on Twitter.

The 6-foot-2 Locke, an All-Metro first-team selection last season, is expected to choose between Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, Providence and Xavier, each of which he visited this fall. The Gators are considered the favorites, accounting for over 70 percent of the “Crystal Ball” predictions on 247Sports.com.

After a breakthrough season for the Eagles in 2016-17, Locke continued to excel in Amateur Athletic Union play, averaging over 18 points per game on nearly 50 percent 3-point shooting in Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League. He earned offers from Kansas, Maryland, Virginia, Notre Dame and more top schools, and now is considered the No. 66 overall prospect in the 247Sports.com Composite rankings for the Class of 2018.

Locke’s announcement is the second by a top-100 Baltimore guard in the past two weeks. On Sept. 22, John Carroll five-star Immanuel Quickley committed to Kentucky.
