McDonald's All American Immanuel Quickley (John Carroll) to compete in 3-point shootout tonight

John Carroll boys basketball senior guard Immanuel Quickley will compete in the Powerade Jam Fest 3-point shootout Monday night as part of this week’s McDonald’s All American Game festivities.

The Kentucky signee will take on fellow five-star prospects Cameron Reddish, a Duke signee, and Jahvon Quinerly, a Villanova commitment. The rules follow those of the NBA’s Three-Point Contest, in which shooters are given a minute to make as many 3-pointers as possible from the five designated stations.

Quickley averaged 20.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 3.7 steals per game this season as he led the Patriots to the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference title.

The McDonald’s All American Game will be held Wednesday night in Atlanta, with Quickley and Mount Saint Joseph star forward Jalen Smith, a Maryland signee, playing on the East team.
