Seahawks break loose for fourth straight win

South River won its fourth straight baseball game, pouncing on Meade for a 10-0 victory on Thursday.

Ethan Falsone and Jesse McElree collected two hits and two RBIs apiece to power the Seahawks to the mercy-rule shortened home victory. Falsone ended the contest with a walk-off triple in the bottom of the sixth inning that saw South River score five runs. Eric Sieber struck out five and allowed three hits in six shutout innings.

Adam Barrett had two of Meade's three htis.

ARUNDEL 14, GLEN BURNIE 3 (5 INNINGS): Andrew Cassard and Mack McKisson drove in three runs apiece and combined for four extra-base hits to pace the Wildcats to the home victory.

Arundel, which received two doubles from Cassard and a double and triple from McKisson, broke the game open with 10 runs in the fourth inning. Joe Gustafson, Matt Colon and Dylan Gilbert knocked in a run apiece for the Gophers.
