Consecutive years a Carroll County team has won the Class 2A-1A state tournament title, which will no longer be scored.

Mount Saint Joseph is the No. 1 ranked team in The Baltimore Sun's 2017-18 wrestling preseason Top 15 poll.
The public schools association will no longer award a team champion at both individual state tournaments at the end of the season. Some schools like the switch; others don't.
