Braedyn Gallagher

Francis Scott Key, hitter, senior

• A great all-around player, Gallagher began her high school career as a setter

• Finished the year with 234 kills and 195 digs

• Contributed 27 aces from the service line

• Will attend Messiah next year and play volleyball

Sarah Girard

Glenelg, hitter, senior

• Provided the power for a Gladiators offense that advanced to the Class 3A state final

• A dominating presence at the net, Girard posted 432 kills to lead Glenelg

• Had 418 digs

• Is deciding between Swarthmore and Johns Hopkins, and will play volleyball next season

Morgan Kline

Severna Park, setter, junior

• An indispensable part of the Class 4A state champion Falcons

• Posted 642 assists for the area's highest-powered offense

• Contributed 140 digs and 33 blocks for top-ranked Severna Park

• Posted a .952 serving percentage and had 78 aces

Mary Smith

Severna Park, hitter, senior

• Smith came alive in the state playoffs, dominating Sherwood with eight blocks and seven kills in the Class 4A state semifinals

• Had 106 kills and 64 blocks

• Committed only four blocking errors

• Will attend college and play volleyball, but hasn't decided where she will go
