State high school lacrosse semifinals schedule set

The schedule has been set for this weekend’s girls and boys lacrosse championships with one exception.

In Class 1A, the Francis Scott Key and Boonsboro girls will play their West regional final Thursday. If Key wins, the Eagles will play Loch Raven on Friday at 8 p.m. at Havre de Grace. If Boonsboro wins, the game agianst Loch Raven would be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Havre de Grace.

The semifinal winners will advance to the state championship games May 22-24 at Stevenson University.

Class 4A

At Gaithersburg

South River vs. Eleanor Roosevelt girls, Friday, 6 p.m.

Severna Park vs. Eleanor Roosevelt boys, Friday, 8 p.m.

Walt Whitman vs. Dulaney girls, Saturday, 2 p.m.

Churchill vs. Howard boys, Saturday, 4 p.m.

Class 3A

At Mount Hebron

Mount Hebron vs. Huntingtown girls, Friday, 6 p.m

Centennial vs. Northern-Calvert boys, Friday, 8 p.m.

Westminster vs. Bel Air girls, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Westminster vs. Towson boys, Saturday, noon

Class 2A

At Northeast

Century vs. Hereford girls, Friday, 6 p.m.

Damascus vs. Hereford boys, Friday, 8 p.m

Kent Island vs. Glenelg girls, Saturday, noon

Kent Island vs. Marriotts Ridge boys, Saturday, 2 p.m.

Class 1A

At Havre de Grace

Smithsburg vs. Sparrows Point boys, Friday, 6 p.m.
