Severna Park blanked defending champion Northwest, 13-0, in the Class 4A state final, tied for the largest margin of victory in 4A history.

If C. Milton Wright wins a regional title this season, it would be its sixth-straight. That means there isn’t a single current Mustang who has experienced a loss in the regional final.

Duke Vickery has coached Sparrows Point softball for 32 seasons between JV and varsity. Last season, his Pointers successfully captured the Baltimore County championship crown for the first time, defeating Lansdowne, 3-0, at the CCBC-Catonsville.
