Lamarr Mitchell scored a team-high 18 points and Blair Davis and Greg Miller both added 14 as City beat No. 3 Lake Clifton, 65-63, on Tuesday.
The Knights got two free throws from Davis with 22 seconds left to go up 63-62 and the senior guard added two more free throws to help seal the win.
Lake Clifton got 20 points from Derrick Green and 16 from Gary Jefferson.
Girls basketball
Severna Park 51, Severn 47: Erin Carroll hit four key free throws in the final 45 seconds and led all scorers with 18 points.
The Falcons led by as many as 12 points in the second quarter, but were forced to rally in the game's final minute after the Admirals tied. The win snapped Severna Park's three-game losing streak to Severn.
Carroll scored nine of her points in the second quarter to help the Falcons build the big lead, then added six in the final 2:30. She also hit a 3-pointer in the third quarter to answer a Severn run.
Julia Kenealy was a big spark off the bench and added 10 points, four rebounds and three steals for he Falcons. She scored six of her points during the second-quarter run that helped the Falcons take control.
Maddie McDaniel, who was awarded a commemorative ball prior to the game for scoring her 1,000th career point during the Queen Anne's Holiday Tournament, led the Admirals with 16 points and six rebounds. Maya Harris followed with 11 points and Jorryn Avery added 10 points and three steals. Rachel Crawford added six points, including a 3-pointer that tied the game at 43 with 1:30 left.

Fallston 38, North Harford 34: Logan Gasior led the Cougars with a game-high 24 points and Savannah Testerman scored 14 points for the Hawks.
No. 8 Patterson Mill 60, Bel Air 29: Sam Herman scored 22 points, including five 3-pointers, and Qalea Ismail scored 18 points for the Huskies (8-3).
Wrestling
Broadneck 34, Severna Park 31: After watching the Falcons (6-4) turn a 12-point deficit into a one-point lead after Stephen Johnson scored five unanswered points late to win at 132 pounds, the Bruins' Colin Tasker used two first period takedowns and five crucial points in the second period for a 9-1 major decision to guide the Bruins (7-3) to a 34-31 victory.
Tasker's late-match heroics concluded a furious finish by both squads, starting with three straight pins by Adam Beasley (285 pounds), Justin Cassidy (106) and Owen Joyce (113) that turned an 18-13 deficit into a 12-point lead.
Severna Park (6-4) rallied to take the late one-point advantage through wins by Mclean Linehan (120), Jon Muther (126) and Johnson. Linehan scored a 12-4 major decision and Muther pinned Justin Baluyot in 3:54.
Broadneck (7-3) opened up a 10-0 lead to start the match and held a 13-6 advantage through five bouts, but consecutive pins by Kyle Craven (195) and Tony Bellotte (220) propelled the Falcons to an 18-13 lead.
