* Despite missing seven games with an ankle injury, finished with seven goals and nine assists to lead the No. 15 Eagles (12-5-1) to Class 3A East final

* Cleared to play in region title game against eventual state champion River Hill, returned to the field with 15 minutes left in regulation and made a positive contribution in overtime

* All-Metro second-team selection as a junior, finished four-year career with 33 goals and 34 assists

Kia Rankin

McDonogh, forward, junior

* A midfielder in her first two varsity seasons; move to forward proved beneficial as she finished with 25 goals and 17 assists for the No. 1 Eagles

* Scored four goals against perennial national power Pennington (N.J.) and against Mount de Sales

* North Carolina State commit scored the game-winning penalty kick in the shootout win over Notre Dame Prep for the IAAM A Conference crown

Marcela Robinson

McDonogh, defender-midfielder, senior

* Defensive midfielder triggered the Eagles build-up play with smart defense and smooth touch to get the ball forward

* Strong two-way player; was dominant in the air defensively and had three goals and nine assists on offense

* Four-year varsity player was part of three IAAM A titles and is committed to play at La Salle

Jamie Shiflett

Sparrows Point, forward, junior

* Clutch goal scorer finished with Baltimore County-high 31 goals to go with two assists in leading the No. 3 Pointers (16-1) to their first county championship and second straight Class 1A state crown

* Scored a goal in every game but one this season, with nine multigoal games, including hat tricks against Perry Hall and Dulaney

* Has 63 goals and 12 assists in three years; scored game-winning goals in county and state championship games

Andrea Sipos

Bel Air, goalie, junior

* Two-year starter went 16-2 with nine shutouts and saved 108 shots on goal (90 percent) to lead the No. 4 Bobcats to a second straight Class 3A state semifinals appearance

* Used smart positioning, reacted quickly and was a vocal leader

* Has 24 shutouts in two seasons for Bel Air after transferring from John Carroll as a sophomore

Hailey Small

Broadneck, defender, sophomore

* At left back, dominated her side of the field with fine instincts, skills and speed to match up with top forwards and help lead Bruins to an 11-4 season

* Also used at forward; created scoring chances during the flow of the game and with her long throw-ins and free kicks

* Finished with five goals and three assists; has eight goals and eight assists in two varsity seasons

Jenna Surdick

Arundel, defender, senior

* Repeat All-Metro first-team selection was backbone and leader of No. 13 Wildcats (12-4-1) defense at sweeper

* Anchored defense that posted 12 shutouts and limited opponents to eight goals for the entire season

* Four-year starter and Coastal Carolina commit also had five goals and six assists

Gaby Vincent

McDonogh, midfielder, senior

* Finished with eight goals and 10 assists to help the No. 1 Eagles to the IAAM A Conference championship and 15-0 season

* Brought stability and creativity to the middle with fine field sense and ball skills

* Two-year starter after transferring from Oakland Mills, committed to play at Louisville
