A senior headed to the Naval Academy, Clark led the No. 9 Cavaliers to three wins last week, including the championship of the Seahawk Holiday Classic in Hilton Head, S.C., where she was named Most Valuable Player. In wins over Henry Clay (Ky.) and Sturt (Australia), the 5-10 forward averaged 12 points, 12 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.5 blocks. As the Cavaliers opened play Saturday in another tournament, the Title IX Holiday Classic at the D.C. Armory, Clark had 17 points 16 rebounds, nine blocks and three steals in a 64-61 win over Wilson (D.C.). Clark missed almost all of last season after surgery to repair a torn ACL and meniscus suffered in an Amateur Athletic Union game. This season, she averages 14.4 points, 13.7 rebounds and 4.7 blocks.
