The 6-foot-2 junior center had double-doubles in three wins last week, including an upset of Howard County rival and No. 7 Atholton. Green totaled 53 points and 37 rebounds for the week as the Vikings improved to 4-0 and jumped from No. 10 to No. 7. She had 13 points and 15 rebounds in the 52-34 win over Atholton, 22 points and 12 rebounds in a 57-28 victory over Dunbar and 18 points and 10 rebounds in a 55-22 win over River Hill. Green, who led Howard County in blocks last season, has averaged 14.8 points and 12 rebounds in the first four games. A veteran of the DC Heat Amateur Athletic Union team, she has a 4.25 weighted GPA and has drawn college attention from such programs as Rhode Island, Stony Brook, Towson and UMBC.
