The senior forward-guard led the No. 2 Reds to a 3-0 start last week and earned Most Valuable Player honors at the Peddie School Tip-Off Tournament in New Jersey. A versatile 5-feet-10, Edwards scored 17 points and had nine rebounds, two assists and three steals in Friday's opening-round 60-43 win over Penn Charter (Pa.) at the Peddie School tournament. She then had 16 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal in the 53-46 title victory over Peddie on Saturday. Earlier in the week, she had six points and two rebounds in limited action during a 72-27 romp over St. Mary's. Edwards, an All-Metro first-team player last season, has signed to play college basketball at High Point in North Carolina.
