The junior forward scored four goals and added one assist to lead the No. 13 Mavericks (12-1-1) to two wins last week, including a 4-1 win over No. 14 Liberty on Oct. 14 to clinch a share of the Carroll County title with No. 5 Century. After Liberty tied the game 1-1 early in the second half, Colson scored 30 seconds later and later added another goal. She finished with two goals and one assist. The win gave Manchester Valley its first piece of the county title in the program's sixth season. On Thursday, Colson scored both goals for the Mavericks in a 2-0 win over Middletown. She leads Manchester Valley with 20 goals and six assists this season. Also a lacrosse standout, Colson earned All-Metro second-team honors as a midfielder last spring,
