The senior midfielder led the No. 3 Vikings (6-0) to three Howard County wins last week, highlighted by a four-goal effort in a 9-7 win over No. 7 Marriotts Ridge on Thursday.
In addition to the goal production, Giles, a four-year starter, also had three draw controls and three ground balls in the win. For the week, which also included wins against Oakland Mills and Reservoir, she totaled 11 goals and two assists.
Set to play at Maryland, Giles has 23 goals and six assists this season to give her 161 goals and 71 assists in her four years. Last summer, Giles played for Baltimore in the Under Armor All-America Underclass Tournament and scored the game-winning goal in overtime for a 10-9 win over Long Island in the title game of the three-day event.
