The junior catcher went 6 for 7 with three home runs, three doubles and eight RBIs in leading the No. 1 Mavericks (5-0) to three wins last week. Heagy, who played right field for last season's 25-0 Class 2A state champion team, hit a home run and doubled in each game, a 9-2 win over Hereford, a 15-4 five-inning win over Loch Raven and a 12-2 five-inning win over Perry Hall. She was 2 for 2 with three RBIs against Hereford but walked twice to get on base in each of her plate appearances. She had four RBIs against Loch Raven. Heagy is batting .800 with five home runs and 19 RBIs. A veteran of the Parkville Thunder club team, she has a 3.25 GPA.
