The senior scored 10 goals in the Admirals' season opener and had 14 goals for the week as No. 6 Severn split its first two games. Steele, a midfielder shooting 74 percent, scored 10 goals on 11 shots and added two assists in a 17-11 win over No. 9 Notre Dame Prep and had four goals on eight shots in a 12-9 loss to Mount de Sales. An All-Metro first-team player last season, Steele led the Admirals to the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference tournament semifinals with 82 goals and 10 assists. She plaed for the Maryland United club team, and has signed with Maryland. Steele has a 3.2 GPA.
