The senior won two individual events and swam the third leg of the meet record-setting 400-meter freestyle relay team, which clinched the Blazers' fourth Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference championship in five years. Clancy also set a meet record in the 100-yard butterfly in 56.15 seconds. She won the 200 individual medley in 2:06.99 and helped the Blazers' medley relay finish second Notre Dame Prep nipped McDonogh, 454.50 to 451.50. A veteran of the Loyola Blakefield Aquatics Club, Clancy helped the Blazers to the National Catholic High School Swimming Championship the previous weekend, sweeping all four events, including a meet-record 55.90 in the 100 fly, an All-American consideration time. Clancy, who has a 3.97 GPA, is considering swimming for Air Force, Johns Hopkins or Washington University in St. Louis.
