The 6-foot-2 forward-guard averaged 20.5 points and 11.5 rebounds last week in leading the No. 5 Eagles to the championship of the Sandler Bracket at the Title IX Holiday Classic at the D.C. Armory. Named to the All-Tournament Team, Jones scored 31 points and had 12 rebounds in the 63-62 championship game victory over then-No. 3 St. Frances. She had 11 points and 11 rebounds in the 59-55 semifinal win over The Patrick School (N.J.). A two-time All-Metro first-team selection, Jones is a four-star recruit and the No. 18 player in the country in ESPNW's HoopGurlz Super 60 Class of 2016 rankings. She plays for the Fairfax Stars Amateur Athletic Union team. Jones, who has a 3.2 GPA and scored her 1,000th career point last month, has committed to play for Maryland, where her sister, Brionna, is a sophomore center.
