Eight high school football teams are left standing heading into state championship weekend, including Milford Mill and Dunbar. Three 2016 state champions have advanced, including two-time defending Class 4A champ Wise and four-time defending 1A champ Fort Hill. Damascus won the 3A title the past two years and is now in the 2A final.
The four state finals are set for Thursday through Saturday at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
Dunbar will be going for its 10th state title after rolling past Havre de Grace.
