* Had eight saves, including several in acrobatic fashion, in a 1-0 win over Garrison Forest in the conference final; saved her best performance for the team's biggest games

Maggie Gutberlet

Hereford, forward, senior

* Had 15 goals and nine assists to lead the Bulls to the Class 2A state title

* Scored the game's lone goal in the Class 2A state semifinal win over Glenelg, then scored again in its championship win over Kent Island

Jensyn Koontz

North Carroll, forward, junior

* Led Carroll County in scoring with 23 goals and four assists

* Led the Panthers to a 15-2 record and the Class 1A state championship; scored the game-winner in the championship game

Regan Littell

Broadneck, midfielder, senior

* A three-year starter at center-midfield who finished this season with three goals and four assists

* Plans to play field hockey and lacrosse at Division III Stevens Institute of Technology

Erin Shanahan

Archbishop Spalding, forward, junior

* Had 18 goals and 10 assists, leading the Cavaliers to a 14-3 mark

* Selected for the USA Field Hockey Futures Elite program, the top level of the Olympic development pipeline

Zoe Smith

South River, defender, senior

* Powerful defender with strong stickwork and an outstanding communicator on the field

* Played a key role in the transition game, finishing with six goals and an assist; will play at American next year

Jessica Valvano

Severna Park, midfielder, senior

* Exceptional vision and distribution skills

* Had eight goals and four assists, helping the Falcons to their second straight Class 4A state title; will play at Dartmouth next fall

Kayla White

South River, forward, senior

* Led Anne Arundel County public schools with 23 goals; added eight assists

* Strong left wing with great stick skills, especially on her reverse; aggressive in the circle and very strong defensively; plans to play at Division III level next year
