He was part of a loaded Severna Park team that easily repeated as Class 4A state champions. Forsyth won the region meet and then finished ninth at the state meet.

Dalton Hengst

McDonogh, sophomore

He was one of the area's top underclassmen last year. Hengst took third in the MIAA title race and also was third in the Scorpion Crawl earlier and should be strong again.

Frankie Legambi

Loyola, senior

He took a big step up last year from his sophomore season, and that helped the Dons win again. Legambi was fourth in the Georgetown Prep meet and ninth at the MIAA championship.

Trent Rose

River Hill, senior

He helped River Hill roll to the Class 3A state title last year. Rose took 16th in the state meet and eighth in the Howard County and region runs and should do even more this season.

Kenny Rowe

Loyola, senior

Rowe will be part of a solid group that should help the Dons have a good shot at winning the MIAA A Conference again. Last year, he finished fifth in the MIAA championship meet.

Daniel Smolyak

Atholton, senior

Smolyak is coming off a solid junior season where he finished 11th in the Class 3A state meet. He also finished fifth in the regionals and has been consistent throughout his career.

Nick Tilson

Liberty, junior

He really came through for the Lions as they finished second in the Class 2A state meet last year. Tilson took second in the state, third in Carroll County and fifth in the region meet and should help Liberty again.

Josh Tucker

Severna Park, senior

Tucker improved throughout the season and helped the Falcons win the Class 4A state title. He ran strongly late, taking sixth in the region meet and then seventh in the state meet.

Eric Walz

Dulaney, senior

Walz capped an outstanding 2014 with big performances in the post-season races. He won the Baltimore County and region meets before finishing second in the Class 4A state meet.

Kevin Wegner

Loyola, senior

Wegner has improved a great deal each season, and this year could be his best. He finished 14th at the MIAA title meet last fall, and Wegner could give the Dons a bigger boost this fall.
