Calvert Hall's 4x100-meter relay team set a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association record at the Penn Relays last weekend.

The team of Isaiah Watson, Sean Tucker, Brayden Morris and Chris Lewis finished in 41.93 seconds to break the old record of 42.01 set by Mount Saint Joseph last season.

Running in the High School Boys 4x100-meter national race, the Cardinals finished second to L.C. Bird from Chesterfield, Va., by one one-hundreth of a second.

Next up for the Cardinals, the MIAA championships beginning Wednesday.
