Foreman, who has coached at Gilman for 26 years, said this year's team was something to remember.
The top-ranked Greyhounds had little trouble repeating as the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association champions.
Gilman could beat teams in sprints, distance and field events, and Foreman and his assistants did a masterful job of putting the right athletes in the right places throughout the spring.
"This team was special in that they had something to prove to themselves, which started after the indoor season," Foreman said.
