Earlier in the week, then-No. 3 Loyola Blakefield visited Gilman and claimed a solid 1-0 win to move up to No. 2 with its 9-0 record. River Hill has dominated opponents all season, including a 4-0 win over then-No. 10 Centennial last week. The Hawks have outscored their opponents 34-1.It sets up an interesting week that starts Tuesday. While Loyola visits McDonogh with game time set for 4:15 p.m., the Hawks will get a significant test when they visit No. 7 Wilde Lake (9-0-1) with game time at 5:30 p.m. On 12 p.m. Saturday, McDonogh and Loyola will meet for a second time in a makeup game.Elsewhere, Towson made the biggest jump — to No. 9 from No. 13 with its 8-0-1 mark.
