• Scored in 15 of Mustangs' 19 games, including in 11 straight games

• Voted by Howard County coaches as Co-Player of the Year

• Three hat tricks, all were first three goals of game; has not decided on college

Julian Griggs

McDonogh, forward, senior

• Scored 24 goals and had 10 assists despite facing double and triple teams for much of season

• Former Under-15 U.S. national team player; won two national championships with Baltimore Bays during high school career


• Helped McDonogh to MIAA A Conference finals and won two previous championships with Eagles

• Will attend Princeton

Andrew Kestler

South Carroll, forward, senior

• Led Carroll County in goals (15) and assists (14)

• Is all-time points leader in South Carroll's history

• Scored two hat tricks this season

• Will play at William & Mary

Mike Kovach

Arundel, forward, senior

• Four-year varsity player led Wildcats to undefeated regular season

• Led team with 17 goals and three assists

• Had a six-game scoring streak early in season

• Is considering Messiah College, two-time defending Division III national champion

Joe Cahalan

Gilman, midfielder, senior

• Had 13 goals and nine assists to lead Greyhounds this season

• Was four-year starter and served as captain this season

• Made huge diving stop late in MIAA A Conference championship to retain Gilman's 1-0 lead

• Is considering Loyola, Brown, UMBC and Cornell

Jalen Robinson

Mount St. Joseph, midfielder, junior

• Member of Under-18 U.S. men's national team

• Three-year varsity starter has attracted attention of professional clubs overseas

• Co-captain on team that advanced to MIAA semifinals

• Recruited by top Division I soccer programs in nation

Patrick Sullivan

Marriotts Ridge, midfielder, senior

• Captain anchored midfield with nine goals and five assists

• Scored game-winner in Class 2A state championship against Liberty

• Four-year starter, three-time first-team All-Howard County, Howard County Player of the Year in 2009

• Two-time first-team All-State and All-South; has not decided on college

Zach Wenger

Calvert Hall, midfielder, senior

• Four-year starter, including three years as captain; first sophomore captain in program history

• Scored seven goals and had three assists as defensive midfielder, including two against Loyola in 4-3 comeback after trailing by three

• Played three years as center back but moved to central midfield as senior, and was both leader on defense and threat on offense

• Committed to play at UMBC

James Fencil

Liberty, defender, senior

• Long throw-ins helped lead to 16 assists

• Helped anchor defense that had seven shutouts

• Played key role in shutting down opposition in Lions' run to Class 2A state final

• Has not decided on college

Malcolm Harris

McDonogh, defender, junior

•Starting defender for U.S. Under-18 team scored 10 goals and nine assists, and is considered by various publications most talented player in country in age group

• Spent time with professional clubs Celtic and Chelsea, and won Under-15 national championship with Under-15 Baltimore

• Led McDonogh to MIAA final against Gilman, creating several scoring chances

• Being recruited by Maryland, Louisville, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia and others

Ryan Konstanzer

Reservoir, defender, senior

• Set up two goals in Class 3A semifinals and winner in state championship

• Finished season with one goal and seven assists

• Was four-year starter for Gladiators

• Undecided on college; considering track; 4.43 weighted grade-point average

Jordan Manley

Mount St. Joseph, Mt. St. Joe, defender, senior

• Three-year varsity starter at center back

• Co-captain who routinely was responsible for opponents' top forwards while also helping build attack

• Helped team to record nine shutouts and finish second during regular season behind Gilman

• Has committed to play at American
