KEYS TO VICTORY

Dulaney and Hereford, which on Wednesday beat Milford Mill for the first time since 1989, are atop the Baltimore County Division 1 standings with 7-1 marks, while the Millers are 7-2, along with two other teams. The Dulaney-Milford Mill game could resemble a track meet, as both teams like to get out in transition. Dulaney lost leading scorer and team leader Isaiah Lamb to a knee injury last month, but has continued to play good basketball since, going 6-1. Harrelson (averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds) and Williams (13 points, 8 rebounds) are two big reasons, as both have picked up their play to offset the loss. Milford Mill counters with Jenifer and a strong cast led by Fulton and forward Elijah Cooper. The Lions will seek to limit second-chance points with strong defensive rebounding to get out on the break. The Millers haveto get a strong performance from Jenifer, who can control the flow of the game and find open teammates. Getting back on defense to keep the Lions from getting easy transition points is also a must, so consistent team defense will play big for the Millers.Dulaney has three games remaining on the league slate, starting with Patapsco Friday and closing with a pivotal showdown at Hereford next Friday.
