Arundel wrestler Isaiah Olugbemi is the Boy Athlete of the Week. (Handout photo)

The senior dominated the heavyweight class at North County's two-day Keaser Classic tournament over the weekend, going 8-0 to lead the Wildcats to a second-place finish behind Walt Whitman in the 12-team field. Olugbemi, who is now 10-0 on the season, had three pins in the tournament and an impressive 4-2 upset decision over Northern-Calvert's highly-touted senior Scott Cross, who placed third in the Class 4A-3A state tournament last year. For his effort, Olugbemi was named the tournament's outstanding wrestler among the heavyweight classes. Olugbemi, who is in his third varsity season, captured the 220-pound class in last year's Anne Arundel County tournament. In addition to wrestling, he's also a standout nose guard for the Wildcats football team and won the discus event in last year's Anne Arundel County outdoor track and field championships.

Others considered: Keandre Cook, Edmondson, basketball; Myles Martin, McDonogh, wrestling; Will Robinson, Oakland Mills, basketball; Malik Woody, Mount Saint Joseph, wrestling
