This fall, he has 78 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. The 6-foot-2, 226-pound Smith has offers from more than 30 top programs, including Florida State, Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Clemson and Wisconsin. Smith, who has a 3.5 GPA and also runs track, likely will begin narrowing his college list after this season.
