Boy Athlete of the Week: Tyreke Rudolph

The senior tailback ran for 190 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Mustangs' 34-14 win over City on Friday, their first win over the Knights in nearly 20 years. Rudolph has scored seven touchdowns in the past two weeks and has run for 746 yards and 12 touchdowns on 82 carries this fall. He also has two touchdown receptions. As a cornerback, he has 23 tackles and three interceptions for Mervo (6-0). Rudolph is a two-time Baltimore City wrestling champion and was a regional finalist last season. Last spring, he won the city title in the 300-meter hurdles. He plans to play football in college, likely starting at a junior college.
