A transfer from Archbishop Spalding, the senior guard has brought do-it-all skills and leadership to the No. 2 Lakers (18-2). Jefferson's most important attribute has been his consistency. It was on full display last week as Lake Clifton wrapped up a berth in Saturday's Baltimore City Division I championship game. On Feb. 10, Jefferson finished with 14 points, six rebounds and four assists in a 69-63 win over No. 13 City. He followed that with a 15-point, five-rebound, five-assist performance as the Lakers clinched the berth with a 70-58 win over Poly on Friday. On Saturday, he had 16 points, five rebounds and five assists as the Lakers handled Milford Mill, 72-47. Jefferson is averaging 16 points, five rebounds and five assists and has stepped up a number of times late in tight games.
