The junior dominated the 195-pound weight class at Stephen Decatur's War on the Shore tournament last weekend, winning all four bouts by pin to help lead the No. 3 Gaels to a second-place finish in the 22-team field. Rill opened the tournament on Friday with a second-period pin over Ben Riskin from Indian River (Del.) before needing just 54 seconds to get past Tyler Shields from St. Mary's Ryken. On Saturday, he recorded a second-period pin over Kenny VanVorst from Milford (Del.) to reach the finals. He capped the weekend by decking Hunter Stuart from Great Bridge (Va.) in 58 seconds to claim the highest spot on the podium. Rill was one of three individual champions for the Gaels, who finished runner-up to Damascus, 223-205.5. In his third season on varsity, Rill has a 21-3 record.
