Boys’ Latin senior guard Jaylin Andrews scored 12 points in the Lakers’ 78-45 win over Pikesville on Monday to become the program’s all-time leading scorer, breaking a 41-year-old record.
The four-year starter has 1,451 points, Kevin Waters a 1977 graduate, had 1,446.
Andrews is averaging 19 points with the No. 6 Lakers (19-4) in the midst of one of their finest seasons. He’s also averaging 7.1 rebounds, four assists and 3.8 steals.
