KEYS TO VICTORY
Woodlawn is a perennial power with the last of its many Baltimore County championships coming in 2015, while Dundalk makes its first appearance in the title game. Both teams rely on balanced offense and strong team defense. Warren, Brinkley and Garrison provide valuable senior leadership with each able to make an impact in a variety of ways for the Warriors with Lewis a key newcomer who has produced points. The Owls like to get up the court in a hurry with the four players mentioned above averaging 11 points or more. On Jan. 3, Woodlawn claimed a 78-64 win over the Owls in a game that was close most of the way. In the closing minutes, the Warriors knocked down some big shots and then pulled away at the free throw line. The Warriors have the edge in big-game experience, so the Owls must handle the big lights and play comfortably on the bigger court at SECU.
