No. 15 Mount Carmel 62, Capitol Christian Academy 55: Will Jenkins scored 17 points to lead the Cougars (6-4) pasts the Warriors (9-4) in a consolation game at the Gonzaga DC Classic.
Mount Carmel (6-4) will play Riverdale Baptist, a 63-61 winner over Theodore Roosevelt (D.C.), in today's fifth-place game at 3:15 p.m.
No. 13 Poly 65, Westlake 64: The host Engineers (3-1) trailed 36-30 at the half, but a combination of full-court pressure and free throws (19-for-25) lifted Poly over the Wolverines (1-2).
Marcel Thompson scored 20 points and De'Vondre Harry had 19 for Poly.
