The No. 9 Patterson Mill girls basketball team suited up just six players to play No. 6 Poly at the Beast of the East Showcase on Wednesday at Roland Park.

Without Ismail, Patterson Mill (1-1) lost its nine-point lead, could not break a trapping defense set by the Engineers (1-1) and did not score a basket the rest of the way.

Chason and Harrison finished with 11 points each.
Catholic led 19-13 at halftime, fell behind in the second half but tied the game at 37 to force overtime.
