No. 1 St. Frances 55, St. Thomas More (Conn.) 0: The visiting Panthers (5-0) built a 42-0 lead in the first half over the Chancellors (2-2) at Trinity College (Conn.). The game was the second shutout of the season for St. Frances, which has only given up an average of 3.6 points per game.


No. 4 Broadneck 27, Meade 7: Joshua Ehrlich threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns as the host Bruins (8-0) extended their undefeated season with a win over the Mustangs (2-5).

A pair of first-quarter touchdown passes from Ehrlich to Ethon Williams gave Broadneck a 14-0 lead, but Meade was able to hold the score there through the first half, including a crucial stop in the final seconds to keep the score within reach.

Ehrlich threw for 234 yards on 17 of 31 passes, Jason Carcamo led rushers with 126 yards on 23 attempts, Williams and Woods finished with 98 and 72 yards receiving, respectively, and Matthew McAllister led the defense with six tackles for Broadneck.

Old Mill 35, Glen Burnie 6: Ryheam Tull rushed for 156 yards and two scores to lead the Patriots (5-3) past the host Gophers (1-7). Markus Thompson found Tra Thomas for a nine-yard touchdown while completing 11 of 16 throws for 115 yards, Daekwon Rose led receivers with 70 yards on five receptions, Myles Demby led the defense with five tackles and Jaden Lambert snagged an interception for Old Mill.

Carl Hawkins connected with Elyjha Powell on a 31-yard touchdown for Glen Burnie.

Boys soccer

No. 1 Loyola Blakefield 3, Archbishop Spalding 0: The visiting Dons (14-0, 13-0 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference) got two fast-break goals in the second half and surged past the Cavaliers (6-10, 3-10). Goal scorers were Matt Lala, Chase Llewellyn and Nathan Morg-Comi. Spalding has lost eight in-a-row.

No. 3 McDonogh 3, No. 12 Mount Saint Joseph 2: Ian Macdonald, Andrew Privett and Richie Nichols each scored to pace the visiting Eagles (8-2-1, 8-2-1 MIAA A Conference) past the Gaels (6-8-1, 6-8-1). Mount Saint Joseph has lost three of its last five games.

No. 14 Calvert Hall 3, Dulaney 1: The host Cardinals improved to 9-6 and the Lions fell to 8-4-2.

Severn 4, Saints Peter & Paul 0: Nathan Gauthier had three assists and Jack McCarthy scored twice to lead the Admirals (14-4, 13-2 MIAA B Conference) in a shut out over the Sabres (5-9-1, 5-8-1).

Glenelg Country 1, St. Mary's 0: Addie Schmidt scored the second-half game-winner to lift the visiting Dragons (4-8, 1-6 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) over the Saints (1-7-1, 0-7).

Severn 4, Garrison Forest 0: Mori Sokoloff had a goal and two assists to lead the visiting Admirals (5-7-1, 5-2 IAAM B Conference) in a shut out over the host Grizzlies (2-8, 1-6).
