Marriotts Ridge football beats No. 13 Glenelg for first time since 2008

Marriotts Ridge 12, Glenelg 7: Eric Skogmo caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Poole right before halftime, and intercepted a pass in the end zone on fourth-and-goal from the 4-yard line to clinch the win for the Mustangs (4-3).
Asad Dar scored the go-ahead touchdown for the Mustangs on a 60-yard run midway through the second half. Glenelg fell to 4-3.

No. 2 Arundel 44, South River 3: Anthony Messenger completed 15 of 20 for 208 yards and three touchdown passes, and Larry Barnes had 12 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns to lead the host Wildcats (7-0) past the Seahawks (1-6).
No. 4 Mount Saint Joseph 35, Archbishop Spalding 20: Nevone McCrimmon had 26 carries for 216 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Gaels (7-1) past the host Cavaliers (2-6).
No. 7 Broadneck 42, Severna Park 11: The visiting Bruins (7-0) strung together six scoring drives for a 42-0 lead with 11:38 left in the game. Canaan Gebele completed 11 of 13 passes for 251 yards and four touchdown passes. The Falcons fell to 1-6.
St. Paul's 6, Severn 0: Allan Koikoi caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Anthony Pino in the third quarter to lift the Crusaders (4-2-1) over the host Admirals (2-5).
No. 2 River Hill 4, Wilde Lake 0: Xavier Quintero scored twice to lead the host Hawks (13-0) past the Wildecats (5-5-3).
St. Mary's 5, Bryn Mawr 0: The Saints improved to 12-0 and have one game left in the regular season, Monday versus Garrison Forest at 4 p.m. The Mawrtians fell to 4-8.
Archbishop Spalding d. Mount de Sales, 3-1 : Timely power hitting, strong defense and consistent serving proved to be the right ingredients for visiting Archbishop Spalding (11-6) as they defeated Mount de Sales (7-8), 25-9, 22-25, 25-18, 25-2.
