Matt Brummet led the way for No. 2 Archbishop Curley again with a goal and an assist as the host Friars won, 6-0, over St. Paul's in soccer Friday.

Curley improved to 8-1-2 and 5-1-1 in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference, and the Crusaders fell to 1-6 and 1-6.

Ben Gentry had two saves for the Friars, and Nate Wdzieczkowski added one.

Curley has won the past two meetings after a prior stretch of 0-1-2.

No. 4 Mount Saint Joseph 2, John Carroll 0: Nick DeShong made two saves in his fourth shutout of the season as the Gaels (5-1-1, 5-1-1 MIAA A Conference) beat the host Patriots (4-5-2, 3-3-1).

Eastern Tech 2, Kenwood 0: Drew Holt made a save in this third shutout as the host Mavericks (6-2) beat the Bluebirds (1-4).

Gilman 2, Archbishop Spalding 0: Freshman Teddy Ndje scored two goals 90 seconds apart to power the Greyhounds (4-3-2, 3-3-1 MIAA A Conference) past the Cavaliers (1-8, 0-5).

John Philippou had his fifth shutout of the season.

Dulaney 3, Franklin 2: Giorgio Gayleard had a goal and two assists to lead the host Lions (5-3) past the Indians (0-5).

Dundalk 5, Concordia Prep 2: Clement Blamo had two goals and two assists to lead the host Owls (5-0) past the Saints (6-1).

Catonsville 8, Patapsco 1: Abbie Boehl had her first hat trick to lead the Comets (3-5-1) past the host Pointers (2-4).

Field hockey

Mount de Sales 3, Century 0: Sam Dinoto, Libby Rehkember and Katie Morgan scored and the host Sailors (6-2) shut out the Knights (1-6).

Victoria Huxtable scored in overtime as host No. 13 Atholton (7-0) earned a 2-1 win over No. 14 Cenetennial (6-2).

No. 10 John Carroll 2, Perryville 0: Emma Gromacki made four saves in her first shutout as the Patriots (4-2) beat the host Panthers (3-5).

Spalding won, 25-6, 25-13, 25-12.
