The No. 5 Gaels got multiple hits from John McManus, Matt Sniezek, CJ Palting and Nick Caporlette.
Andre Brown had a bases-loaded single, and Ed Nottingham hit a solo home run to left-center field.
Palting turned in two defensive plays to keep the Crusaders (7-9) from reaching base.
Patterson Mill 6, C. Milton Wright 3: Jeff Noss gave up three runs on three hits, walked two and struck out 14 as the Huskies (9-3) beat the host Mustangs (3-8).
Noss tied Billy Benson for the school record of 14 strikeouts in a game.
Loyola Blakefield 11, Archbishop Curley 0: Chris Girken pitched a shutout, giving up four hits and striking out 11 for the host Dons (7-8).
He also hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning and Lavone Ward had two home runs for Loyola. The Friars fell to 3-11.
Softball
The pitching combination of Kristy Selby and Sabrina Curtiss allowed just two runs and No. 4 River Hill came up with enough timely hits to beat visiting Glenelg, 6-2, on Wednesday and stay unbeaten in Howard County softball.
Selby pitched the first five innings, striking out five and picking up the victory. Curtiss got the save in relief. River Hill (9-0, 11-1) was led offensively by Kinsey Johnson, who went 2-for-2 with her sixth home run of the season, home run, a double and two walks.
Glenelg (7-3, 9-4) had taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the first as Toni Pritchard hit a solo homer and Allison Wilcox followed with a single and eventually scored on a single by Gabriella Mistichelli.
No. 2 Seton Keough 2, Catholic 0: Kelly Lynch provided the defense and Imani Dawson produced the offense as the host Gators (12-0) shut out the Cubs (4-8).
Lynch gave up two hits and struck out 15 and Dawson (2-for-3) drove in both runs: an RBI single in the third inning and a solo homer in the sixth inning.
No. 7 C. Milton Wright 12, Havre de Grace 1: Emily Luzetsky went 4-for-4 with two RBIs, scored two runs and stole two bases to lead the host Mustangs (11-2), who scored 10 runs in the first inning, past the Warriors (4-7).
Morghan Fulton worked five innings to earn her seventh win.
No. 8 Severna Park 10, Chesapeake-AA 0: Haley Simonds threw a one-hitter and Cat Ramagnano (2-for-2) had two home runs as the host Falcons (11-2) shut out the Cougars (4-8).
No. 12 Northeast 11, Annapolis 0: The visiting Eagles (8-4) scored 11 runs in the first inning against the Panthers (0-8).
Bethany Smith worked five innings and struck out seven for the win and Ashley Prince had a double, a triple, two runs scored and three RBIs.
Bel Air 10, No. 13 Dulaney 1: Rayn Gibson gave up one run on one hit and struck out 15 as the host Bobcats (10-1) upset the Lions (7-3).
Winters Mill 7, Francis Scott Key 6: Andrea Moore's walk-off single gave Winters Mill (2-9, 1-8) its first Carroll County victory of the season. The Eagles (5-6, 3-6) led 6-5 after six innings.
