No. 1 McDonogh scored 11 goals in the second half to earn a 16-7 girls lacrosse victory over Mount de Sales and extend its winning streak to a national-record 125 games.
The host Sailors (4-7, 3-6 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) used great defense to force turnovers and trailed by one at halftime, but the Eagles (13-0, 9-0) took over from there.
Kelsey Cummings had a game-high four goals for McDonogh, which had three three-goal scorers: Elizabeth George, Brindi Griffin and Catie May.
No. 3 Mount Hebron 15, Howard 11: Chachi Kelehan and Jen Giles each scored four goals to lead the Vikings (8-0) past the host Lions (8-2).
Howard's Katie Schluederberg had a game-high five goals.
No. 11 Severn 11, St. Paul's 10: Regan Leavitt led the Admirals (7-5, 5-3 IAAM AConference) past the host Gators (6-5, 4-3) with three goals and an assist.
Baseball
Severn 5, Glenelg Country 4, 8 innings: Ryan Jack stole home to lift the host Admirals (9-3) over the Dragons (3-5-1).
In the eighth inning, Severn trailed 4-3 before Sam Roeder scored and Jack, who had reached first base on an error and stolen second, took third on a passed ball.
Catonsville 7, No. 7 Dulaney 5: The visiting Comets (4-2) scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning and held off a rally by the Lions.
A bases-loaded infield hit by Jake Getzendanner scored the go-ahead run, and a two-run double by Matt Moulthroup capped the scoring for the Comets (4-2).
Catonsville starter Jake Parrott allowed three runs and four hits in six innings and Dulaney's Harris Lipinski struck out 10 and allowed three runs and one hit in six innings.

South River 4, Annapolis 0: Luke Gernatt worked three innings, walked one and struck out three as the host Seahawks (4-4) shut out the Panthers (3-10).
Eric Sieber went 2-for-3 and Stephen D'Onofrio had a two-run single for South River.
Softball
No. 8 Perry Hall 12, Towson 0: The host Gators (8-1) scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and two in the sixth to beat the Generals (3-3).
Miranda Lobus went six innings, gave up three hits, walked one and struck out six for the win. Hannah Lewis (2-for-4) had a home run and three RBIs.
Wednesday softball
North Harford 6, No. 4 C. Milton Wright 0: Alexis Lyttle pitched a three-hitter and the host Hawks (6-4) scored three runs each in the bottom of the second and fifth innings to upset the Mustangs (8-2).
