The C. Milton Wright baseball team had multiple hits in four of five innings, leading to a 13-3 nondivision win over visiting Aberdeen.
The Mustangs (2-3) scored once in the opening inning and then added five in the second and six in the fourth to push toward the 10-run rule. In both big innings, C. Milton Wright batted through the lineup and had six hits in each.
Shane Spurlock had the biggest hit, a three-run home run to deep left field in the fourth. Spurlock also added an RBI single in the second to finish 2-for-3 with four RBIs.
Mike Nolte (two RBI doubles) and Mike Penaherrera shared the designated hitter role and went a combined 4-for-4 with four RBIs.
Andrew Schatz also had two hits and an RBI, and Tom Chiascone was 2-for-2.
Sam Smith led the Eagles (3-2) with two hits, including an two-run triple. Owen Smith and Andrew Brndjar also had two hits apiece.
Danny Phillips pitched four innings for the win, striking out six. Zach Thomas took the loss
Softball
No. 8 Severna Park 5, No. 7 River Hill 4: Winner Haley Simonds pitched five innings, gave up seven hits and four runs, and struck out three as the Falcons (3-0) overcame the host Hawks (3-1).
Severna Park scored the wining run in the top of the seventh inning.
Boys lacrosse
No. 7 Gilman 13, Hill School (Pa.) 4: Jimmy Williams scored seven goals to power the host Greyhounds (2-3) past the Rams.
Gilman led 8-3 at halftime.
No. 10 Severn 18, Severna Park 6: Hunter Tyler scored six goals and Tyler Perreten had five goals to lead the Admirals (6-0) past the host Falcons (3-2).
Severn went on a 10-0 run in the second half.
No. 15 Broadneck wins 2: The host Bruins (4-2) beat Kent Island, 8-6, and Archbishop Curley, 16-8, at their Gerry Case Tournament.
Against the Buccaneers (2-2), Riley McNulty scored four goals and Hayden Donnelly made 22 saves. Against the Friars (1-5), Kevin Smith had a hat trick.
Girls lacrosse
No. 1 McDonogh 18, Garrison Forest 4: Blair Kessler had a hat trick to lead 11 Eagles in scoring. McDonogh (8-0) scored 12 straight and increased its national-record streak to 120 wins. The Grizzlies fell to 0-6.
No. 3 Roland Park 13, No. 10 Notre Dame Prep 12: Francesca Whitehurst scored five goals to power the Reds (6-3) past the Blazers (2-5).
Notre Dame Prep led 7-6 at halftime.
St. Paul's 16, Hutchison School (Tn.) 11: Sara Moeller scored five goals to lead the host Gators (3-4) past The Sting (8-2).
