Bel Air 10, Rising Sun 0: Winner Rayn Gibson struck out 10 and went 3-for-3 with two singles, a triple and three RBIs to power the host Bobcats (1-0 ) past the Tigers (0-1).

No. 7 C. Milton Wright 15, Fallston 4, 6 innings: The visiting Mustangs (1-0) scored five runs in the fifth and sixth innings to beat the Cougars (0-1).

No. 11 Perry Hall 17, Hereford 4: Right-hander Miranda Lobus got the win as the Gators (2-0) beat the host Bulls (1-1).

Boys lacrosse

No. 3 Boys' Latin 14, Bullis 11: The visiting Lakers (5-1) jumped out to a 14-4 lead in the second half before seven penalties allowed the Bulldogs (4-1) to close the gap.

Devin Shewell and Logan Wisnauskas scored four goals each to power Boys' Latin.

Haverford (Pa.) 14, No. 4 Loyola Blakefield 9: The host Fords (3-0) continued their dominance of Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference opponents, beating the Dons (1-1).

Haverford led 6-2 at the break and 12-5 with 7:27 left in the game.

"It came down to they finished a lot of their chances and we didn't," Loyola Blakefield coach Jack Crawford said.

No. 6 Calvert Hall 16, Calverton 11: Timmy Kelly and Austin Glad had three goals each to lead the Cardinals (5-1) past the host Cougars (2-2).

No. 11 Severn 14, John Carroll 6: The host Admirals (3-0) led 6-2 at the half and cruised past the Patriots (1-3).

No. 12 Westminster 10, Urbana 4: Hunter Davis and Rett Jamison had three goals each to lead the Owls (1-0) past the host Hawks (0-1).

Girls lacrosse

No. 1 McDonogh 17, No. 7 Bryn Mawr 13: Brindi Griffin had four goals and two assists as the visiting Eagles (4-0) extended their winning streak to 116 games.

Hadley Brown and Julia Feiss scored four goals apiece for the Mawrtians (1-2).

John Carroll 9, No. 5 Mount de Sales 8, OT:  Kara Klages (three goals, one assist) scored the game-winning goal as the Patriots (2-0) upset the Sailors (1-1).

Caroline Sdanowich scored a game-high four goals, including the tying goal with 50 seconds left in regulation.

Hannah Ignacio had a hat trick for Mount de Sales, which led 5-3 at halftime.

No. 11 Marriotts Ridge 9, Glenelg 2: Lexi Souder and Carly Miller scored four goals each to lead the Mustangs (1-0) past the Gladiators (0-1).
