Harford Tech scored 10 points in the final quarter, eight from the free-throw line, to edge visiting Fallston, 41-38, in a Class 2A East section girls basketball semifinal Wednesday.
Tech (16-4) trailed 32-31 after three quarters, but Brianna McAllister's (17 points) basket with 27 seconds left pushed the Cobras back ahead, 39-38. Jonna Maddox (14 points) added a pair of free throws with 12.3 seconds left.
Fallston (8-14) had the ball in the final seconds, but failed to get off a potential game-tying shot.
Fallston's Logan Gasior led all scorers with 21 points.
Havre de Grace 62, Colonel Richardson 49: The Warriors (12-10) beat the visiting Colonels in Class 1A East.
Taylor Smith led the winners with 24 points. Samara White added 16 and Addie Richardson netted 15.
No. 10 Old Mill 78, Meade 43: Kaneshia Afi scored 17 points and Alayshia Dailey added 10 as the Patriots cruised past the Mustangs in a 4A East region Section I semi-final game.
The Patriots jumped out to a 17-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back, pushing the lead to 57-33 after three quarters.
Alexis Jackson scored 20 points while grabbing three rebounds, three steals and two assists in her final game for the Mustangs.

Old Mill 65, Glen Burnie 63: Clifton Eubanks scored off a rebound with 6.8 seconds left in regulation to lead the Patriots over the Gophers in a Class 4A East Region Section I semifinal on Wednesday. Old Mill advances to the section final, which will be played on the next day school is in session.

No. 4 Patterson 58, Dunbar 43: Dereck Oliver scored a game-high 23 points to power the host Clippers (19-5) past the Poets (6-12) in Class 2A North.
Patterson extended its seven-point halftime lead to as many points as 19 in the third quarter.
No. 2 Lake Clifton 72, W.E.B. DuBois 45: Derrick Green and Gary Jefferson shared top-scoring honors at 18 points to power the host Lakers (22-2) past the Panthers in Class 1A South.
No. 12 Edmondson 62, Northwestern 50: The visiting Wildcats (5-10) hung tough with the Red Storm (17-6) in the first half, but Edmondson pulled away to win in Class 1A South.
Keandre Cook finished with a game-high 26 points for Edmondson.
