Roundup: Seton Keough upsets No. 10 Roland Park, 52-40

Kanla McCormick scored 20 points and Stix Wilson added 12 as the host Seton Keough basketball team upset No. 10 Roland Park, 52-40, on Tuesday in an Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference quarterfinal.

The Gators (13-12) trailed in the first quarter before taking a 21-18 lead at halftime. Daisy Alaeze finished with 20 points for the Reds (16-11).

No. 1 Aberdeen 69, Fallston 48: Bri Jones had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the host Eagles (20-0) past the Cougars.

No. 2 McDonogh 69, Mercy 34: Tiersa Winder scored 15 points and the host Eagles (24-1) beat the Magic in an IAAM A Conference quarterfinal.

No. 5 Archbishop Spalding 72, Severn 41: The host Cavaliers (18-8) went on a 21-2 run in the third quarter to pull away from the Admirals in an IAAM AConference quarterfinal. Jade Scaife had a game-high 17 points for Spalding.

No. 6 Meade 52, Severna Park 35: Imani Bailey scored a game-high 25 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the visiting Mustangs (15-5) past the Falcons.

No. 8 St. Vincent Pallotti 62, St.Frances 44: Tiffany Padgett scored 11 points and Beverly Ogunrinde added 10 to power Pallotti past St. Frances in an IAAM A Conference quarterfinal.

Pallotti made 25 field goals and went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line.

No. 9 Glenelg 62, Wilde Lake 37: Emily Russo had 13 points to lead the Gladiators (20-1) past the host Wildecats (0-21).

Notre Dame Prep 56, Maryvale 29: Hannah Hartman had 13 points to lift the host Blazers (18-4) over the Lions in an IAAM B Conference quarterfinal.

No. 7 Dunbar 73, Maryland Academy of Technology and Health Sciences 36: Rodney Jones scored 12 points and Evan Singletary had 11 to power the host Poets (17-3) past the Panthers. Dunbar was 18-for-23 from the free-throw line.

No. 12 Glen Burnie 52, Broadneck 44: Brandon Spain scored 17 points and Clarence Watkins added 14 to lead the host Gophers (19-2) past the Bruins.

Glen Burnie led 20-16 at halftime.
