No. 14 C. Milton Wright 55, Patterson Mill 53: Mychal Stefanides had 14 points and three steals to lead the Mustangs (14-1) past the host Huskies (5-9).

No. 3 Oakland Mills 94, Hammond 51: Will Robinson Jr. scored a game-high 23 points and the host Scorpions (15-2) opened with an 18-9 run.

No. 8 Edmondson 73, Dunbar 43: Demitrius Hoskins scored a game-high 24 points to power the host Red Storm (14-3) past the Poets (5-8).

Edmondson shot 70 percent from the free-throw line (21-for-30) and used a balanced offense to take control, leading 43-19 at halftime.

No. 9 Meade 72, Arundel 47: The host Mustangs (15-1) won their 14th straight, beating the Wildcats (7-10).

No. 13 Boys' Latin 108, Archbishop Curley 59: Blair Brooks scored 35 points to lead the Lakers (21-5) past the host Friars (10-9).

Girls basketball

No. 4 Aberdeen 78, Fallston 27: Kierra Palmer scored a game-high 23 points to power the host Eagles (15-2) past the Cougars (2-14).

Aberdeen led 48-19 at the half.

St. Vincent Pallotti 58, John Carroll 55: The visiting Panthers (2-10, 1-9 Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference) took the lead in the third quarter and held on to beat the Patriots (7-15, 1-10).

Palllotti led 57-55 with 20 seconds left when Musharapha Alhassan got an offensive rebound, was fouled and went 1-for-2 from the line. John Carroll's 3-point attempt missed for the tie.

Hannah Franklin had 20 points, including three 3-pointers, for Pallotti. Savannah Simmons had 20 points and Ashley Hunter 18 for John Carroll

Wrestling

Owings Mills 38, Perry Hall 30: The host Eagles (17-6) beat the Gators (19-1).

Owings Mills led start to finish beginning with a forfeit at 106 pounds and a technical fall by Brandon Bekar (113).

"We came together as a team, guys cheering one another on," second-year coach Shawn Girch said.

Indoor track

Mount Hebron, which won the county boys title, dominated again to take the regional title by 33 points over Westlake, while River Hill bounced back from a third-place Howard County finish to take the girls title with 65 points, ahead of Huntingtown in the Class 3A East Regional Track & Field Championships at the Baltimore Armory.
