With the game tied with five seconds left in overtime, Shana Hildreth dribbled to halfway between the 3-point arc and half court, and made the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift host Maryvale over Institute of Notre Dame, 47-44, in girls basketball Saturday.
The Lions improved to 8-13 and 4-10 in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference.
The Penguins fell to 9-13 and 7-7.
Maryvale led 28-25 at the half but had to force overtime with a free throw for a 42-all score. Hildreth finished with 14 points.
Arundel 60, No. 11 Seton Keough 51: Natasha Roy scored 25 points and the Wildcats (10-4) tightened their defense in the second half to upset the host Gators (12-8).

Boys basketball
No. 5 Lake Clifton 64, Calvin Coolidge (D.C.) 49: Gary Jefferson scored 18 points to lead the visiting Lakers (14-2) past the Colts (15-6).
Annapolis Area Christian School 60, Broadneck 53 The host Eagles (14-7) turned the game around in the second half, scoring 44 points in transition.
