Alexis Phillips scored the game-winner with one second left to lift the No. 5 Archbishop Spalding girls lacrosse team over No. 11 John Carroll, 13-12, on Thursday.
The Cavaliers improved to 5-3 and 4-2 in the Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference.
The win marks the second straight for Spalding. The Patriots (3-3, 3-3) have lost two of their past three games.
No. 1 McDonogh 15, St. Paul's 11: The Eagles (10-0, 7-0 IAAM A Conference) extended their winning streak to 122 games.
The host Gators (4-5, 3-3) trailed 12-11 with five minutes to go, but McDonogh won the draw controls and finished with a 3-0 run. St. Paul's was led by Sara Moeller (four goals) and Lynsey Prout (three goals).
No. 13 Severn 13, No. 2 Bryn Mawr 10: Caroline Steele and Maddie McDaniel scored four goals each as the host Admirals (7-4, 5-2 IAAM A Conference) upset the Mawrtians (5-3, 5-2).
Severn led 8-6 at halftime. Julie Blaze led Bryn Mawr with four goals, and Olivia Rubin had a hat trick.
Boys
No. 10 Westminster 10, South Carroll 9, OT: Hunter Davis (four goals) scored the game-winner with 3:30 left in overtime in a come-from-behind victory for the host Owls (7-0) over the Panthers (4-3).
South Carroll controlled the faceoffs and won ground balls to take a 5-3 lead at halftime. Westminster regrouped in the second half as Ian Eichensehr scored the tying goal with nine seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
Wednesday's boys
Havre de Grace 17, Bohemia Manor 3: Colin Dean scored four goals and assisted on five to lead the Warriors (5-1) past the visiting Eagles.
Havre de Grace, which led 9-1 at the half, also got four goals from Nick Burley.
