Caitlyn Bobb
Harford Tech, sophomore
Bobb played a big role in the Cobras taking second in the state indoors. She won in the 300- (40.54 seconds) and 500-meters (1 minute, 16.30 seconds) and ran on two winning relay teams.
AJ Davis
McDonogh, senior
David missed her junior season because of a torn ACL but is back and ready to go after a good winter in basketball. As a sophomore two years ago, Davis won both the shot put and the discus.
Sam Facius
Mount de Sales, senior
Combined with Juliette and Bella Whittaker, Facius helps gives Mount de Sales three of the area’s top runners in one lineup. She won the 1,600 (5:19.78) and the 3,200 (11:54.15) at the IAAM A Conference title meet.
Mya King
Sparrows Point, senior
King won the Class 1A 55 hurdles in a class-record 8.19 seconds during the indoor season. She is a versatile athlete who also can help in the various jumps outdoors and will score for the Pointers.
Emily Konkus
Hereford, senior
Konkus is a solid runner who helped the Bulls edge Harford Tech by two points indoors for their fifth state title. She finished second in the Class 2A 1,600 and third in the 800.
Bronwyn Patterson
South River, sophomore
After winning a Class 4A state title in cross country, Patterson came through again indoors. She won the 800 in the Anne Arundel County title meet, the East Region meet and the state meet (2:20.09) and also took the 1,600 at the states (5:03.88).
Jada Seaman
McDonogh, junior
Seaman can give the Eagles points in many ways. She can deliver on the track (sprints and relays) and in field events (long jump), helping McDonogh win the IAAM A Conference title indoors this winter.
Adaobi Tabugbo
Reservoir, junior
Tabugbo helps Reservoir in so many ways. She won the 55 hurdles in the Howard County, Class 3A East Region and state meets, and won the 100 hurdles last year in outdoor track.
Bella Whittaker
Mount de Sales, junior
Whittaker and her sister (Juliette) really have given Mount de Sales a huge lift. Bella won the 300 (39.36) and the 500 (1:18:98) at the IAAM A Conference title meet.
Juliette Whittaker
Mount de Sales, freshman
Juliette burst onto the scene by winning the IAAM A Conference title in cross country and followed with a strong indoor season. She finished second in the 1,600 and 3,200 at the title meet indoors and also helped on relays and other distance events.
